I bet she’ll perish in a very slow-moving car, as a joke about that song. Like how Paul WALKER was famous for his driving roles, & died in a car crash, eerily similar to the one that killed James Dean. Both died in Southern Cali in Porsche convertibles, Dean’s w/ a red interior, Walker’s w/ a red exterior. Dean died at 35°N. Walker died at 118°W. (You talked about 118 recently. Poker players call it “dead man’s hand” and “aces & eights.”) They looked quite similar; likely an elite breeding program. Probably the two best-looking dudes in Hollywood history, in fact. But I digress.

Chapman released a 42-minute album called Crossroads. (Wikipedia insists it went platinum, despite having no hits.)
“Crossroads” / “The Crossroads” is used as the metaphorical location of selling one’s soul to the devil. (Probably as a way of mocking the Christian cross / crucifix.) Most famously blues singer / guitarist Robert Johnson, whose first recording session was in ‘36 & who entered the 27 Club when he died in ‘38 at 33°N. Wikipedia hints at the likely bogus nature of his tale by stating “Much of his story has been reconstructed by researchers.”
Researchers = 56. Researcher = 33. Research = 36.

  Luke Combs = 35.

  Tracy was born on 3/30, like 33. Her 2000 album Telling Stories peaked at #33 on the Top 100, in the year she was age 35 and 36.
  
  P.S. This is all a shame for me to learn, because “Fast Car” has been one of my favorite songs since it came out, & I have several of her albums. Then I see that the last song on her aforementioned album Crossroads is mockingly titled “All That You Have Is Your Soul,” and instantly I don’t feel bad for her anymore.

  I just learned one of my favorite current bands, Men I Trust (whom I just saw live this weekend), is opening on tour for the ultra-Satanic singer Melanie Martinez next spring. Lots of MIT’s fans have been voicing their displeasure over this. And MIT’s meek / adorable / sweet singer Emma has been posing with the one-eye sign in their tour posters, t-shirts, etc. I don’t wanna have to cancel them from my life. We shall see.
